Why did the student get out of bed at 5am?
For the same reason you would... if you'd got yourself into a top ten University with a modern campus for year one, only to find that there is no purpose built student accommodation for the rest of your time at Uni until Mezzino come riding over the horizon and you want to make sure along with another 38 students that you get first choice!!
That's exactly what happened 25th January at Stockton on Tees as Mezzino launched its first lettings campaign at 2pm (in accordance with University accreditation rules) - so the poor students had to wait from dawn till 2pm before being able to secure the apartment of their dreams - which just shows the strength of demand by Durham University students.
This scheme will soon be launched for sale to investors using our usual loyalty policy, offering apartments to existing purchasers and student parents first and then to our database and finally the general public.
Please note: The investment launch for this scheme has now been postponed until at least July 08 and quite possibly until February 09.
